I have been thinking about a problem I need to solve about making a race from one container to another and make it so the race participant can't cheat at it. The way to do this would be to give them a RFID tag, have a reader in a container in the woods (I am not sure if this is possible to somehow power and use it without a computer and use a battery or solar power), have the reader put a time and date stamp on the tag, and have the person race to the other container in a certain amount of time so that the other container will open when the tag is read with a beginning time within 20 minutes.
