Touchatag tags are standard issue NFC tags that cannot be overwritten, read more
Basically, it would be nice to have an application that allows you to configure a touchatag to be a editable set of keystrokes. Once configured, takes the touchatags identification information and sends it as keystrokes as if it were typed by the user.
This would be useful for SO many things. Imagine the possibilities:
- Edit touchatags in such a way that they can be a set of keystrokes that carry an Insurance Client's info.
Ex: (When placed over reader)
Robert Riggs (tab key) 1-345-678-9012 (tab key) 2424252525 (enter key) etc...
Have clients have their own touchatag sticker on the back of an insurance card and enter into their insurance office where they can scan their touchatag. In the office, there would be a computer set up with an application/software/website that only has input fields. When the client scans their touchatag the info in their personalized touchatag will automatically input the info and allow access for them to pay monthly payments or make changes to their policy.
- Compter is turned on and the computer prompt asks for a user name and password to login. When touchatag is placed over reader, it automatically enters:
ex: Robert (space) Riggs (tab key) unhackablepassword123 (enter key)
So basically the touchatag becomes your login info.
I've had this idea for a while... If it already exists then please inform me.
Thanks,
Johnny
