A. Create an account

First, create a touchatag account at www.touchatag.com/user/register. Remember your username and your password, you will need them for our RFID service.

B. Get started with the touchatag RFID service

1. Get a touchatag reader and some touchatag tags. You can buy them from our store
2. Download, install and start the software
   
   Download the touchatag software for Windows (XP, Vista)

   Download the touchatag software for Mac OS X (10.4 and 10.5) NEW

   Run the installer file and input your username and password in the installation wizard.
   For Mac users, in case you want to see the visual notifications for touchatag events, please install growl.

3. Plug the reader into a free USB slot.
4. Open your dashboard and make your first touchatag application. For your first application, use a simple application such as the "Web Link" application. Make sure to select "RFID" in Step 3 of the touchatag wizard. Happy tagging!

C. Get started with the touchatag 2D-barcode service

1. Download and install a QR code application on your mobile phone. There are plenty of freeware apps available for all types of mobile phones. More info on the 2D barcode pages
2. Open your dashboard and make your first touchatag application. For your first application, use a simple application such as the "Web Link" application. Make sure to select "2D barcode" in Step 3 of the touchatag wizard. Happy tagging!
