Music Player

The music player cube is the most complex app available and it also takes up 6 tags to use. But in return you get a cube that can do about anything iTunes can do. You can assign play controls (like play, stop, next track), music files (that you can stream over the internet) and web radio stations to tags. Since a cube has 6 sides there are 6 things your cube can tell iTunes to do by just touching the touchatag reader. The idea is that you stick the 6 tags on the sides of a cube (like an old Rubik's cube, a photo frame cube or a foam toy die).

Lock&Unlock

This web wheel sequentially locks and unlocks your pc (tried it only on Windows XP). It uses the "Lock" app earlier published. This is what you've got to do to make it work: 1. Create a shortcut in C:/ (rightmouse click > new > shortcut), and paste following text in the first screen when asked for the location to link to: rundll32.exe user32.dll, LockWorkStation. Name the shortcut "lockpc". 2. Download the logon.exe file from http://www.softtreetech.com/24x7/archive/51.htm 3. Create a file in the same dir as where you've downloaded logon.exe to and give it the following content: logon -p YourPasswordToUnlockYourPC Name this file logon.bat. 4. Create a shortcut in C:/ (rightmouse click > new > shortcut), and browse to the logon.bat file in the first screen when asked for the location to link to. Name the shortcut "unlockpc".

Lock

Another application inspired by the Standby and Shutdown application. It locks my workstation (win xp) with a simple touch. I created a shortcut in my 'C:/tikitag/' directory (rightmouse click > new > shortcut), and pasted following text in the first screen when asked for the location to link to: rundll32.exe user32.dll, LockWorkStation Then I named the shortcut "lock" and created a weblink application that uses following URL: file:\\C:\tikitag\lock.lnk

Standby

This application allows me to put my windows computer (xp) in standby mode with a simple touch. I created a shortcut file (rightmouse click > new > shortcut) that contains the following line in the first page of the create shortcut wizard:

rundll32 powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState

Then I named this shortcut "standby" and saved it in my C: directory.

Finally I created a tikitag application with the Web Link app and used file:///C:/standby.lnk as the URL.

This application shuts down my computer instantly when I touch my reader with a tag. I created a shortcut in my C: directory (rightmouse click > new > shortcut), and pasted following text in the first screen: %windir%\System32\shutdown.exe -s

Then I named the shortcut "shtdwn" and created a weblink application that uses following URL: file:///C:/shtdwn.lnk
