Payment Framework

Alcatel-Lucent provides a flexible and extensible mobile payment framework, which serves to create and host various mobile payment solutions. This framework is provided as a white-labeled software-as-a-service.

Mobile Wallet Service consists out of a configurable and extensible payment framework and payment applications that are enabled by the framework.

Applications include person to person money transfer, proximity payment, remote ticketing, m-commerce and marketing applications like loyalty programs.

The core application enabler is the mobile wallet, which enables consumers to manage their payment and loyalty accounts, view the transaction history and transfer money to other persons. This wallet can be topped up via various ways like credit and debit. MWS is connected to the payment gateway of Clear2Pay for payment settlement.

MWS relies on software as a service model, providing fast time-to-market and full flexibility to scale. The extensible workflow engine, open architecture and APIs guarantee a future proof application development environment that allows to easily plug-in new services and applications into the ecosystem.
